And who are you, to question the might of the Order of the Lionheart and the godlike Lord Lion?
Darth Reign to Lydia Windrunner

Darth Reign was the name feared by the Faerans, the Gungans, the Nagai, the Iridonians, and even some Sith, that was recognised as the supreme commander of the Order of the Lionheart before the return of Lord Lion. From capturing Kamino, Val Rotha, Bonadan, Bothawui, Endor, and Reytha to subjugating Faera during the Faeran Insurrection, Darth Reign truly set the stage for the Ancient's return to the Galaxy at-large, and proved himself the mightiest of the Council of High Lords before being slain by the young Jedi Knight Alec Seth.

Because of his appearance, abilities, and style, it is quite possible that Reign was cloned from the prior Sith Lord, Darth Maul.

Biography[]

The Faeran Insurrection[]

Soon I shall return, Reign. You have impressed me so-far - do not fail me in taking our future copy-capital, the planet of Faera. Strike fear into their hearts, and lead my forces to victory. For this, I shall reward you upon my arrival...
Lord Lion's Dark Ghost to Darth Reign.

It was 55 ABY, and their various victories had brought them into a sort of spotlight in the Outer Rim. Reign now wished to take the largest and most populated planet in the Mid Rim, Faera, to signal the time for his Master's return. Faera had been in turmoil for nearly five years, a rebel group led by the idealistic Kibne Flain had risen to oppose the Senatorial Committee, which had banned the production of equipment for the Republic's army, which in turn thrusted Faera into a half-decade of depression and turmoil. Flain sparked the Faeran Insurrection, and sought to overthrow the government of Lurin Miric, who he believed had bowed to the Republic too readily and been half the cause of his people's downfall. Reign saw this as a golden opportunity.

Arriving on the darkside of Faera Lupine, the Terribel approached Faera at speed. Reign, along with Commander Jaeger and Commander Redd of the Blood Legion and New 501st Legion, respectively, devised a strategy. First, Reign would contact Miric and offer him the choice of surrendering to the Order of the Lionheart in return for the eradication of the rebels and Kibne Flain. If Miric refused, they would join Flain himself and overthrow the government in the capital of Edenil. Jaeger and Redd prepared their legions for battle, whilst Reign meditated on the outcome of the battle, and how to best reach a reasonable endgame.

The battle begins[]

At last the Terribel launched her first brigades of assault transports and Sith Fighters. Reign and his commanders were in the first wave that was sent down, and the Sith Lord sent his transmission to the governor as the first ships entered the atmosphere...

Governer Miric, this is Darth Reign of the Order of the Lionheart. You have only one choice - join the Order and live prosperously, or fall forever and have your people punished for your pride."
"You shall never have my planet, you treacherous Sith dog!"
"Then you shall die... ...goodbye, governor.

—Darth Reign and Governor Lurin Miric

The battle had already erupted between the rebels and the governor's special police. Reign sent another transmission offering alliance to Flain, who gladly agreed, but on different conditions: Reign promised that the Sith would become no-more involved once the governor was overthrown as long as they received tribute and support from Faera once the economy was back on its feet.

Thus the Legions joined the rebellion against Miric's forces, and the battle truly began. Commander Jaeger was shot down while trying to reach Miric, but the heroic ARC-Beta 107, 'Riggs', took up his jetpack, and after being appointed the new commander by Reign himself, used the jetpack to reach Miric and killed the governor where he stood. Reign then gave Riggs the order of killing every rebel that was still alive.

Reign himself beheaded Miric whilst Riggs and the rest of the legion opened fire on the bewildered and outnumbered rebels. In a matter of seconds the entire rebellion was killed, and Faera immediately bowed to the might of Lord Lion, fearing him even in his absence.

The Jedi threat and the spy[]

The Elders called a secret session between themselves, the Council of High Lords, and Commander Riggs to discuss the threat of the Jedi and how best to deal with them should they meddle in their affairs before the Lord of Hatred arrived. In the end, despite Reign's reservations, it was decided that the young acolyte known as Viric Moon would infiltrate the Jedi Academy and learn of their strength and abilities.

Reign, in the meanwhile, was asked to observe a legionnaire who had been exhibiting strange behavior in the 33rd Assault Squadron. The soldier, a human by the name of Gertru Wien, had been asking far too many questions, and was always almost ten minutes late or even more for his training and field excercises. The Sith Lord immediately recongised such behavior as that of a spy, and observed Gertru as he sent numerous transmissions to a man by the name of Tool.

Reign confronted the spy one night and incapacitated him with a sustained choke through the Force. Gertru tried to resist Reign's mind powers, but the Sith Lord was far too powerful, and the spy lost consciousness as Reign probed his mind for any information. Apparently, the man who the transmissions had been sent to was called Arthur Tul. Reign instantly recognised the name as belonging to a famous Jedi Master in the Jedi Academy.
