Darth Poloma, or Tali Kong, was a female Iktotchi Sith.

Darth Poloma, or Tali Kong, was born on Iktotch were she learned the ways of the Force. By 37 ABY, she showed desires for glory and power. This both worried and angered her master. He often abused her by calling her a dark harlot. In 44 ABY when Kong and her Master where hiking a near by mountain, Kong angered her Master when she tripped him. Her Master yelled at her, and force pushed her down into a puddle of mud. In anger, Kong focused all her hate into the force and force used him on a near by cliff and he fell to his death. Frightened by the wrath of the Iktotch Jedi Council and was tainted with guilt for her acts. In shame, Kong gathered her things and fled Iktotch to the remote regions of the outer rim on Felucia. In 46 ABY, the Empire destroyed the Republic settlement of Felucia. Darth Viper, Dark Lord and Emperor of the Empire, along with leading the assault, had founded Kong and dueled her. Impressed to her skills, Viper coaxed Kong to the dark side with promises of power and glory. Kong agreed and joined Viper in the fight. Kong was brought to the Phantom I with Darth Viper. There Viper named her “Darth Poloma” Dark ruler of the Sith. Poloma was put throw several training by Viper. Poloma was a secret to the Empire and the Republic for years. Viper gave her the sacred archives of the Sith to study. Poloma read the archives over and over. But her hunger was not satisfied. Poloma read every archive over and over. But still wasn’t satisfied. So, Poloma in the end of 46 ABY, Poloma took her Sith Star Cruiser and flew to the ruins of the Sith Lords on Korriban. On Korriban, Poloma searched for the history of the Sith. Poloma searched the tombs of the Sith Lords and the Sith Spirits spoke to her. They said that Viper was lying to her. Poloma then was told by the spirit of Darth Malak, one of the old Sith Lords, to travel to Lehon, the ancient capital of the Infinite Empire. Poloma traveled to Lehon, just as Malak said, and search the ruins. Poloma learned not only the beginning of the Sith, but it’s beginnings. Poloma then traveled to Yavin 4 and searched the ruins of the Massassi Temple and learned of the Massassi warriors, and Naga Sadow and Exar Kun’s conquest of the planet. Poloma also learned a hard Sith lesson, A Sith Apprentice must kill their Master. Poloma then returned to the Phantom I.

After Poloma returned, Viper announced her existence. Poloma then was settled on Bastion with Darth Viper in the Palace of Truth. When Viper was sleeping, Poloma went to his room secretly and went into a door in his room that showed a pair of black stairs with a light shining on a pyramid on a pedestal, the New Sith Holocron. Poloma watched the Holocron and learned of all the history of the Galaxy. Poloma then planned to steel the throne from Viper with out starting a civil war. Viper then planned his death for 31 years. Learning his every move and used his teachings against him. In 78 ABY, Poloma was called by Viper on the Phantom I. In Viper’s throne room, Poloma kneeled before Viper. She then grabbed her lightsaber, and force choked Viper and throw her lightsaber at Viper, impaling him. Poloma held him in the air when Viper said she disappointed the Sith and Poloma said he shamed the Sith and killed him with both the force choke and lightsaber and as the lightsaber deactivated, Viper fell, and rolled down the steps of his throne. Poloma then stepped over Viper and sat in his throne. Poloma announced Viper’s death and said she killed him for the Empire. She crowned her self as Empress of the Empire and Dark Lady of the Sith.

In 87 ABY, Darth Poloma, along with the 501st legion, was sent to defend the planet Bespin from Republic forces. Poloma assisted the squad of storm troopers defending of a Jedi and a squad of Republic soldiers. Poloma noticed a storm trooper jammed his weapon. His brother was yelling for him but the Jedi killed him and the republic forces were pushed out by the other storm troopers. Poloma stopped at saw the storm trooper kneeling before his dead brother. The trooper questioned her brutality to him for the Jedi way states that a Jedi can only kill armed people. Poloma used this death as an example of the Jedi’s lies. Poloma then told him to avenge his brother, he must slay the Jedi and the others responsible for it. The storm trooper took his blaster and founded the Jedi in the next hall. He fired several times, and when the Jedi lunged for him, the storm trooper shot at the Jedi, and hit his lightsaber out of her hands. The storm trooper then grabbed her lightsaber and stabbed the Jedi. The storm trooper then took his blaster and killed the squad that helped in the death of his brother. The storm trooper returned to Poloma. Poloma then told him of the power in hate and took him as his apprentice. She made him Darth Victom, due to the death of his dead brother. Darth Poloma desisted to keep the rule of the Sith to her self until Victom would take the mantel of Dark Lord. Poloma served in the war until 98 ABY, when she died in her sleep on Bastion. Darth Victom then learned of her death the next day. Poloma left a hologram telling him that she had passed, and that the secrets of the Sith lay beyond her bedroom wall. Victom founded the room and studied the Holocron and like Poloma, Victom desisted to keep it secret so a civil war would never erupt.
