The Dark Guild was a secret pro-imperial society of politicians, military men, agents and even Dark Jedi that was controlling the entire Senb'An'Tiin star region, which included the systems with such planets as Anarmar, Shiib, Elecria, and a part of Uthel, as well as several other worlds.
It had various tools and methods to fulfill its main goals such as capturing the escaping Jedi, Rebel agents, traitors of the Empire, various criminals, and any suspicious people in the sector. Being the main governing power on Anarmar and only a few other planets, it was directly responsible to the Emperor himself.
History[]
The Dark Guild was created by its future leader Duvar Enego, who was a Security Minister of Anarmar and the Planetary Prime Minister before the rise of the Galactic Empire. In the very end of the Clone Wars, he began the preparations for the total conversion of the Senb'An'Tiin Confederacy into a part of the Empire via the establishment of the Senb'An'Tiin Federation and the signing of a treaty with the Galactic Republic.
In 19 BBY, the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic declared the creation of the First Galactic Empire and the members of the Senb'An'Tiin Federation joined this new union without any hesitation.
It was Duvar Enego who made everything possible, so that the planets of his sector became the territories of the Empire just after Order 66. Actually, Duvar Enego became a secret ally of Darth Sidious long before that, and it was he who set in motion many of the past events to establish the new government.
During the Clone Wars, Enego could control the politicians and officials via the existing mechanism of institutions of both the Senb'An'Tiin Federation and Senb'An'Tiin Confederacy, but after 19 BBY, a new mechanism had to be created. That was one of the reasons why Duvar would create the Dark Guild with the permission of Palpatine.
The Dark Guild would conduct various operations on different worlds up to 4 ABY, when most of the main members were killed.
Members[]
Although there were no any official charter that determined the membership in this organization, there were some rules. Nonetheless, very different people were considered as the members of the Dark Guild in one way or another.
- Duvar Enego
- Dark Jedi Trillak
ZID-17 worked as one of the main agents for the Dark Guild and was present at most of the meetings, so he could too be a member. Several other Imperial officials who did not have any Force abilities were the members, but they played only minor role in its activities. They were the only survivors after 4 ABY, and they could not sustain its existence.
Planets[]
There were several worlds that fell under the influence of the Dark Guild. Primarily, this was Anarmar, where the headquarters of the organization was situated, but it also had sort of a base on Shiib, in the city of Baash'Baan, while Imperial Forces had the Fiderkha Autonomy under their complete control.
Uthel, despite being very close to Anarmar, had its own ruler, who would rather die than share his power with anybody else. This was, of course, Moff Iv'Iurius, who for the second time became Uthel's dictator and was one of the Dark Guild's rivals in the sector.
Elecria was under imperial control, and the Dark Guild sent their droid agent ZID-17 to oversee the puppet governors, who were appointed by Duvar Enego.
Tuak'Khan was the world that was simply observed by the Dark Guild members for almost two decades. As a primitive planet, the Galactic Empire would send their armies there while searching for the Rebels in 3 ABY. The Dark Guild did not succeed in establishing its base there.
It is known that at the same year they sent ZID-17 with a mission of capturing Saire Ornel and her friend Makk Tawkaster on Quedalur. After this operation, the Dark Guild would replace old deans and professors at the Krisse University with their own agents.
Public Opinion[]
Very little knowledge of the organization was known to the ordinary citizens. They knew that their former Prime Minister was somehow related to the Emperor himself, and they were quite aware of the fact, that several Imperial prosecutors were always nearby Duvar Enego.
