Dan Haus, otherwise called "Steel Face" was a human male who served within the Galactic Republic and Galactic Empire, before forming his own empire. Haus was a respected tactician, scientist and strategist.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
He was born on Coruscant on an unknown date. All records pertaining to his childhood, his parents, and his siblings were lost in the Clone Wars during the Battle of Courscant.
The Clone Wars[]
During the Clone Wars, Haus was in the Republic Navy. He joined the Republic Navy a few months before the Battle of Coruscant. Shortly before the Battle of Coruscant, he was promoted to Senior Lieutenant after graduating from an Officer Academy.
Battle of Coruscant[]
Haus was assigned to one of the Imperator-class Star Destroyers first introduced at the Battle of Coruscant. These ships would later become Imperial I-class Star Destroyers. He impressed then Chancellor Palpatine with his courage during the battle after both the Captain and First Officer of his ship were killed; taking command himself and destroying several separatist ships. Haus would be let into Palpatine’s inner circle after the battle, and his identity as a Sith Lord revealed to him.
In Service of the Empire[]
Shortly after the creation of the Galactic Empire, Emperor Palpatine revealed that the ancient Sith Emperor Vitiate gained immortality by consuming all life on a planet. Palpatine tasked Haus with rediscovering the method Vitiate used. Haus would spend most of his career searching. He would be recalled, secretly promoted to Lieutenant Commander, and assigned to the Devastator shortly after the destruction of the First Death Star by Palpatine. Dan Haus was tasked with monitoring Vader’s actions. During this time he would receive another promotion to Commander by Captain Needa. He later replaced Captain Needa as Captain of the Devastator. Haus was soon promoted to Senior Captain by Darth Vader. Leading up to the Battle of Endor, Haus would secretly communicate with Palpatine frequently but left out the information about Luke Skywalker due to deeming it irrelevant.
Battle of Endor and Warlordism[]
Lieutenant! Take evasive action! Get us away from the Death Star!
—Senior Captain Haus ordering a junior officer on the Devastator to move the ship away from the Death Star after noticing several external explosions on the Second Death Star's surface.
Haus was present at the Battle of Endor, and withdrew to Imperial Space with the Devastator after the destruction of the Second Death Star.
Encounter at the Black Nebula[]
Haus had an encounter with Moff Galen Warren in the Black Nebula. Warren gave Haus some of his Forces.
The Thrawn Campaign[]
During the Thrawn Campaign, Haus was enacting his plan to rebuild the Galactic Empire. He built an Orbital shipyard and occupied the abandoned rebel base on Nentan in the Glythe sector. Haus would for a time focus on building Arquitens-class light cruisers and upgraded versions, rechristened as Arquitens-class command cruisers. Some of those command cruisers would later be refitted into Class 546 cruisers. After building sufficient light cruisers for defense of Nentan, Haus began production of smaller ships to support his cruisers.
Dark Empire[]

Prior to the Emperor’s return and reunification of the Empire, Haus used the fleet he built to conquer the rest of the Glythe sector from Moff Trenleo Hadfol, who surrendered to him shortly before the Emperor summoned the Imperial Warlords to Byss. Haus was tasked with launching an attack from the Glythe sector into surrounding New Republic territory as part of Operation Shadow Hand. Palpatine allocated several Star Destroyers to Haus, to bolster his existing fleet, and promoted him to Admiral. After Operation Shadow Hand began, Haus deployed his fleet as planned; splitting his fleet into several parts and striking in multiple directions from the Glythe sector into New Republic space. The Reborn Emperor Palpatine was eventually defeated, and his Dark Empire collapsed, and most Imperial commanders, including Haus, returned to their original territories.
Post-Dark Empire[]
What!? Grand Moff Kaine is dead!? That's impossible!

After the collapse of the Dark Empire, Haus, unlike most Imperial warlords, did not lose any territory and successfully kept what he took from the New Republic. With the death of Grand Moff Ardus Kaine, Haus seized control of the Pentastar Alignment and annexed it into his own faction. He gained the super star destroyers Reaper and Pride of Eraidu from the Grand Moff’s shipyards for his own fleet. Haus gradually conquered surrounding warlords in order to expand his territory.
Daala and the Unified Fleets[]
After Haus absorbed the Pentastar Alignment and its forces, he learned of Daala’s execution of the Deep Core warlords, and the reunification of the Empire into the United Warlord Fleets. Haus closely observed Daala’s campaign against the New Republic, and after her defeat, he congratulated Pellaeon’s ascension to Supreme Commander of the Imperial Remnant.
Imperial Remnant[]
Haus was invited by Pellaeon to join the Imperial Remnant, but Haus would have nothing of it. Haus solidified his holdings and held his ground, intent on preserving his version of the Empire. Haus later named a super star destroyer in honor of the Imperial Remnant, named the Remnant’s Revenge.
Later Years[]
Later in life, Haus began his search for immortality, which led him to discover that Sith Emperor Vitiate achieved immortality by consuming all life on a planet. Haus later used this method to achieve immortality, so that he could rule his empire for thousands of years to come. To accompany his newfound immortality, he gave himself a new title befitting of a ruler; Grand Fleet Admiral. This rank existed in both the Republic Navy and Imperial Navy but was never given out by Palpatine. Haus thought this rank befit him as ruler of a new empire. He married Trenleo Hadfol and give her the title of Executrix, which was the equivalent of Empress in the Haus Dominion.
Personality and Traits[]
He was known as Steel Face because of his Calm and Cool Demeanor. He was known to be an expert in tactics and strategy. He was fiercely independent and often operated outside the chain of command. He was not afraid to question orders and was fanatically loyal to the Galactic Empire and the Emperor. He had few allies, but those he had, he treated as friends.

He was rumored to be Force sensitive, however it was never found if that was actually true.

This Character is supposed to be WW2Buff2018's Star Wars counterpart. The idea for this Character came to him when he thought about what he would be like if he were born in the Star Wars universe. Haus is based off Moff Jerjerrod and Grand General Tagge.
