Damon Carlyle was a male Human Jedi Knight who served the Jedi Order during the Golden Age of the Jedi. The former student of Master Yohn Lahk and the eldest of three Jedi siblings, Carlyle trained alongside his best friend and lover Galen Marek, the apprentice of Grand Master Tomac Moorcé. Gaining prominence in the Order due to his closeness with the Grand Master, Carlyle's career as a Jedi almost was ended when he became a Force Vampire, an undead being which fed off the midi-chlorians in a living things blood. Despite the initial fears that the transformation would leave him devoid of his Jedi senses, Carlyle's situation improved with the constant efforts of the Grand Master, his former Master and his ever-faithful friend Galen Marek.
