The Dahgee Sect was a sect of the Jedi Order based on Dahgee in the Thusa sector, which was one of many worlds where lightsaber crystals were found in abundance. Like most enclaves, the Dahgee Sect was stationed on Dahgee with the sole purpose of defending the crystal mines there from Dark Jedi, pirates, and treasure hunters.

The Jedi stationed at Dahgee rotated between there and other enclaves in the galaxy, and thus the staff at the enclave were ever-changing. There were usually no more than two dozen Jedi at the Dahgee enclave at any one time.

History[]

The Dahgee Sect was founded in around 700 BBY by Jedi Master and space explorer Fezejar Dahgee, after which the planet and sect were named. For virtually the entirety of its existence, the sect encountered very little conflict save for the occasional pirate raid. Most of the pirates that targeted the Dahgee mines were likely associated with the Rimward Tobacco Guild according to later reports made by Jedi investigators stationed at Dahgee.

During the Clone Wars, the Dahgee enclave was raided by a force of Separatist battle droids led by a group of Dark Acolytes intent on securing the crystal mines for the Separatists. The Dahgee Jedi, numbering less than twenty at the time and supplemented only by a small number of security droids, managed to fend off the attackers after days of continuous fighting. A company of clone troopers were stationed at the enclave for the rest of the war, though the enclave would see no more action. When Order 66 was initiated, the company at Dahgee complied and attacked the Jedi. As expected, most of the outnumbered Jedi were slain by the clone troopers, though at least three managed to escape the Dahgee system. The mines at Dahgee were secured as Imperial assets and the contents of the Jedi enclave were seized and hauled off to an undisclosed location in the Deep Core.

Following the formation of the New Republic, a New Republic special forces team managed to clear out the company of Imperial stormtroopers there and occupy both the enclave and the crystal mines, allowing the New Jedi Order to set up a new enclave at Dahgee that would remain uncontested for many years to come.
