While I am not a huge supporter of his methods or his scheming, I must admit that he got the job done and quite efficiently, at that.
—Sōs-uke Aizen on Crie Krobos
Crie Krobos also known as the Daywalker/Day-Walker was a male Rutsenafo from the planet Tianascalve. Born to premier scientist Truk Labowr and the Jedi Knight turned Dark Jedi Uylc Raenstew in 57 BBY, Crie rose through the ranks of the Rutsenafo, displaying his cunning and scientific genius shortly after passing his Bloodrite. However, the true meaning of his quick ascension to power became known to him: He, unlike the rest of his species, could withstand the light.
Using his genetics to his advantage, Crie killed his superior and became the Director of Science to the Rutsenafo. Making many enemies and few friends, Crie experimented on Rutsenafo and outlanders alike, using them to test the possibility of passing on his special gene to the rest of his species. However, Crie's planning masked his true intention: Finding a way to avoid the prophecy of the Destroyer of All and the Deathworld.
With proof of their existence, Crie experimented on five different individuals, giving them each powers that would fulfill their part of the prophecy, but also made a replacement, should one die. Continuing his research, Crie encountered his prize experiment: Ichi Go and tried to convince Ichi to join him in taking down the power of the Deathworld, but failed due to the death of Darth Gloed, another experiment of his and the intervention of Mariz Kenobi Solo and Renton Thur'ston.
Seeking to reunite the Five Who Would Save, Crie returned to his experiments on changing the genetics of his species, seeking to drive in the Five. However, the threat was challenged by Darth Abeonis, Faustus Van Nolmbet, and Nathaniel Kenobi Solo, who ended Crie's life and his hopes of living to see his plans regarding the Five bear fruit. Luckily, Nathan discovered Crie's diary and researched Crie's claims, finding that he had been correct and decided to carry out the mission to destroy the Deathworld.
Talents and abilities[]
His wealth of knowledge of forbidden articles and workings of the scientific world astound even me. I wonder if I made a mistake in assigning him to become my personal assistant.
—Dlav Urladac on Crie's scientific knowledge

Crie Krobos with Ashisogi Jizō
Crie Krobos had a bountiful supply of natural genius, excelling in most everything that was brought to his attention. While suffering somewhat in advanced mathematics and quantum physics, Crie made up for it by his ability to assimilate the unknown quickly and efficiently. Taking a liking to genetics in particular, Crie learned of the cloning techniques of both the Kaminoans and Palpatine, using their knowledge to make clones of himself, should he end up dying before he was ready. Crie also used his ability to withstand the rays of the sun to become a fearsome opponent, as most who fought him assumed the Rutsenafo would suffer the same curse as the rest of his species.
Crie's knowledge of galactic literature and history proved to be his greatest achievement in life. Studying the history of the End Times Prophecy—a bedtime story told to frighten small Rutsenafo children—Crie unlocked the potential fate of the Galaxy and experimented on the Five Who Would Save, making sure to equip them with the tools and weapons needed for their eventual battle with the Destroyer of All. Many Sith Lords of the Decreton Empire would later remark that Crie's experiments in Sith alchemy far exceeded their own attempts.
Crie was also a superior swordsman, relishing any attempt to use his cortosis blade, Ashisogi Jizō, to strike down any opponent foolish enough to attack him in battle. He would also use his natural Force-sensitivity—a gift from his mother's genes and his species' uniqueness—to upgrade himself in combat, specifically using the deadly Force Depletion to strengthen himself. His skills were so good, that even famed Grand Master Nathaniel Kenobi Solo had a hard time defeating the powerful Krobos. However, Crie preferred using his own intuition, rather than the Force.
Behind the scenes[]
Crie Krobos is a variation of the name Eric Brooks, or the Marvel Comics character Blade's real name. Blade is coincidentally also called the Daywalker. However, Krobos and Blade have little in common but their names.
