Countdown to Collapse was the first prequel episode of the Sovereign Legacy series, it spearheaded Ars Dangor's claim against the preservation goals of Lucian Aetius, leading the Byss Remnant Forces into a close call with a civil war and the discovery of the Empire's only hope.
Plot[]
The Eclipse II destroys the Galaxy Gun and spirals down towards Byss, gravity pulls at the single Particle disintegrator warhead, that is launched at the last moment. The Imperial Forces in the region, under command of System Admiral Lucian Aetius, begin the evacuation of Byss however many perish still in the Destruction of Byss.
The Imperial Fleet reorganizes themselves over the planet Relus, where Ars Dangor announces that he was given the Rank of Imperial Regent by their late Emperor, and that he is to govern the Empire in Palpatine's stead until a new successor comes forward. Knowing that this is only a pretense, a prelude to Dangor raising himself among the ranks of other Warlords, Aetius resists and splits the Fleet down the middle into a political standstill.
