Dooku was a Jedi Knight in the Jedi Order. Later in his life, he became disillusioned with the Jedi Order and thrived for greater power. He left the Jedi order and found Darth Sidious. He was twisted into the dark side and became Palpatine's Apprentice. His allegiance was discovered by Obi-Wan Kenobi on Geonosis. He fought the Jedi Order with his Droid Army and escaped off to a distant droid outpost where he fought Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan. He successfully defeated them but he was stopped by his master, who held him back and forced him to retreat.
