Coté was a female Human Handmaiden who served Queen Jamillia during the Clone Wars and is and a twin sister of Lutié.

During the Clone Wars, Coté was present with her twin sister when Padmé left Coruscant for the safety of Naboo. They eventually fought in the Battle of Ohma-D'un until their mistress was assassinated. Coté and Lutié grieved the lost for their queen until Neeyutnee was elected queen.
In 20 BBY, two years after Queen Jamillia was killed, Coté and Lutié served their loyalty to Queen Apailana when the Separatists invaded Naboo the second time. Coté chose to fight and defend Naboo along with her twin sister, and would give her life to protect the queen.
As the Separatist army entered the city, Coté, along with Lutié, Rehtul Minnau, Chamberlyn, two guards, and the members of the Naboo Royal Advisory Council were present in the Throne room in order to protect their mistress until Kun reveals himself as a separatist and kills everyone, leaving Apailana and Sio Bibble injured.
