Copala III was a terrestrial planet in the Copala System of the Tapani sector in the Core Worlds. It was one of the major sources of fuel due to its major mining and shipping of Anthracite and Ardanium from such places as Chrale. Copala was home to several billion people, including Humans, Utai, and Ugnaught

Capitol city of Fenba
Copala's Surface was mostly temperate. It had mostly oil wells but they did not cover most of the planet. The planet still remained mostly rural and had multiple small villages. The only large city was the Capitol and tourist haven of Fenba. This was a popular vacation planet with multiple billion visitors from all around the galaxy. Ruins of a past extinct species suggested that they were an advanced race at that time, but they seemed to evolve into another race who left the planet.
Culture[]
The government was a select counsel of human elders who were chosen by popular vote. In order to be considered an elder, individuals must have been about 90 years of age or older. There were 15 members of the council and they sat on the council for life. The elders were responsible making the laws, but needed voters endorsement to make them enforceable. The production of starship fuel was one of two main exports. The other was military vehicles. The relationship between Utai, Ugnaughts, and humans was characterized by equality of status, even though the Utai and Ugnaughts did the manual labor while the humans were taught work (engineering, design, etc.)
Military[]
Copala III was known for its vast defensive military. with its placement being in the center or a massive asteroid field, it was hard if not impossible to navigate, if not a local. Also, the inhabitants were known for their knowledge of military vehicles, and weapons. They imported most of their materials from Copala V, which had the largest collection of titanium in the galaxy.
