The Conclave of Dxun was a meeting of many Jedi who survived Order 66, arranged by Shadowmaster Rina Ascura. The moon Dxun, tainted by the Dark Side, was chosen as the place for the meeting in hopes that its Dark Side aura will mask the presence of many Jedi from Palpatine and Darth Vader. The conclave was held in 19 BBY, several months after Order 66.

The conclave was an extremely dividing event for the order. Rina Ascura was already sliding towards the Dark Side at this point, consumed by a desire of revenge, and many other Jedi attending the conclave, mostly youth rescued by Ascura, tended to share her feelings. Other, wiser and more level-headed Jedi opposed Ascura's revanchist speeches. As the result, whatever remained of the Jedi Order underwent a schism, with Ascura's followers (who received the name Ascurites) renouncing the Jedi Code and swearing revenge against the Sith.

Knowing the danger that the Sith might try to recruit or convert any Ascurites who fall to the Dark Side, and well remembering the fates of infamous revanchists of the past such as Darth Revan and Darth Malak, Rina Ascura forced all her followers to swear an oath to hate the Sith and live to destroy them.

I, Rina Ascura, swear to hate and to pursue to the end of space, until the end of time the Sith, their apprentices, their servants and slaves, the Imperials, all those who executed Order 66, and anyone who gives them succor, guards their lives, refuses to give them away to us, gives them away to someone other than us or takes their lives, depriving us of our right to do so. I have become a blade of fire in the darkness that surrounded the galaxy. I have become the flame that chases away the night. I give my life, my fate and my soul to the Ascurite Order and swear by them. Let the Force itself be the witness and seal the fate of anyone who reneges on this oath. The oath is given.
—The Ascurite Oath

The conclave was held at night by a great bonfire, and Ascurites turned on their specially prepared fire orange lightsabers when they swore in. Ascura's opponents, horrified by the words of the Ascurites, refused to acknowledge them as Jedi anymore.
