The Cleansing Wave was an Echidna-class command cruiser. It served as the flagship of the Mezlagob Home Fleet in the Navy of the Tetrarchy of Mezlagob.
During the Great Liberation, Admiral Yman Ailad commanded the Home Fleet from the Cleansing Wave. As the Golden Empire closed in on Mezlagob, Ailad proposed that the Tetrarchs offer terms of surrender, and was executed for treason. The new commander, Vice Admiral Dithiar Minum, took over the Cleansing Wave, but oversaw the mass surrender of the Home Fleet to the Empire's Prime Fleet at the Battle of Mezlagob.
The Empire's boarding crews seized the Cleansing Wave, which was subsequently employed against the Tetrarchy's last holdouts in the Battle of Ommol. Though the ship survived Ommol, Tariun Sakaros felt its continued existence had too much symbolic value for Tetrarchy loyalists, and had the ship scrapped for parts.
