The Chasm was a dimensional rift between the realspace galaxy and the Otherspace galaxy, created by the ancient Kathol through the Metavasis. The Chasm was similar to the Kathol Rift in its dimensional instability, although differed in that it only became unstable periodically, as opposed to indefinitely.
The Chasm was located near the Endor system, within the Moddell sector of the Outer Rim Territories.
