The Chandrilan Resistance was an anti-Imperial resistance movement, led by Mon Mothma on Chandrila during the early years of the Empire. It was founded in the year 17 BBY by Mon Mothma, who worked with many trustworthy non-Chandrilans who became affiliated with the movement; these included the human spy Hail Ruto and the Zabrak smuggler Jax.
Ten years after its founding, in 7 BBY, Mon Mothma's Chandrilan resistance joined Senator Bail Organa's Alderaanian resistance, becoming the core of what would become the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
