Calamar was the capital city of the planet of Esseles. A peacful city, it was conquered by the Sith Order of Decreto during the Sith Crusade.
During the Successors War it was claimed by Darth Proditor up until the end of the war where it was the sight of part of the battle of Esseles. Following the war it became part of the domain of Darth Krayt.
