Caden Bardan, better known as Darth Gualtullo, was the leader of the Elitest Four, following his own Rule of Four, in having Four Sith at one time, a Master, and three apprentices, a radical idea, even by Sith standards. He used Tarakus Deadmerit a few times, while he was trapped in a holocron, named after him.
Bio[]
Early life[]
Caden Bardan was hatched on Tristchana in 265 BBY, to a remote tribe of Fazabian Fa'neir Dragons who were Sith. Gifted with The Force, Caden was instructed by the local academy, in the isolated community, which didn't draw a lot of attention. After several years of rigerous training from his master, Civarel Parathordaria, Caden went out on his own, to complete his journey to becoming a Sith Lord. After completing the ritual, Caden called himself Darth Gualtullo, and started making a name for himself, traveling the Mudara Galaxy, and teaching numerous, and promising students.
Radical thinking[]
Over the years, Gualtullo often returned to his remote home village, looking for an apprentice. While on one of these trips, Gualtullo started thinking carefully about who his apprentice should be, and then started evaluating the rule at the time, the Rule of Two. As he further evaluated it, he started coming up with the philosophy, that two Sith, while powerful as they are, couldn't cover as much ground as four. Thus, he started exploring usage of what would eventually be known as the Gualtullo Rule of Four, allowing for a limited combination of Masters and Apprentices, allowing for Four Sith Lords to co-exist at one time. When he approached the Sith Council on Korriban, he was told that the Rule of Four was too radical for them, and as a consequence of this, his spirit was eventually sealed in a holocron, named after him, and his body destroyed.
Discovery and recovery[]
In 68 BBY, Gualtullo's holocron was discovered by a Sith scientist. Using the Sith scientist's knowledge, Gualtullo managed to recover his body, and eventually returned to it. Afterward, Gualtullo discovered his old Master's creation, Ludamigus, and took the promising student under his wing. With fiery discipline, and broad knowledge, Gualtullo let the young Ludamigus, to grow, and nurture his hatred for his creator. In several years, Gualtullo gathered Ludamigus, and two other apprentices, and together, the four called themselves the Elitest Four, with Gualtullo at the helm. But, while out, Gualtullo was recaptured by Sith agents, and reimprisoned in his holocron. For several years, he waited to be discovered once again.
Tarakus Deadmerit's encounter[]
While on Kejim, in 12 ABY, Tarakus Deadmerit discovered Gualtullo's Holocron, and became Gualtullo's helper, recreating his body, then returning to it. Upon his return, Gualtullo gave instructions to his apprentices to help him build an empire, that taught the belief of the Rule of Four. Gualtullo left explicit instructions for Tarakus to keep the holocron, in case he got unruly, and needed to be imprisoned, being one of the first Sith to realize that at times, he could be excessive in his thinking and power. He was almost permanently restored to his body, somewhere near 17 ABY, allowed to roam freely, keeping his holocron.
The Second Return[]
When Gualtullo lost his body again, in 2,079 ABY, Gualtullo once again used the aid of Tarakus Deadmerit, utilizing his body, and went on a reign of terror, over a six-year period. When he was confronted by Darth Draco Minoris, and Darth Wildaska, he was returned to the holocron, and Gualtullo's original body was restored, utilizing medical technology, created by Tarakus Deadmerit. Shortly afterward, Darth Gualtullo disappeared, never to be heard from, for another millennium.
Personality and physical traits[]
As was typical of a Sith, Gualtullo was cold, brutal, sadistic, and a bit demented. He was a brilliant philosopher, and often came up with extremely radical ideas, that were reluctantly accepted later. Gualtullo also developed paranoia, due to his highly radical thinking, which the Sith didn't accept, until much later in life.
While Gualtullo was a brilliant genius, he was a typical Fazabian Fa'neir Dragon, with his turquoise scales, and other features. One thing that was odd about his physical height, was how tall he was, measuring nearly 4 meters tall, an abnormality, when it came to his species.
