The CY-230 frigate was a frigate developed by Cestean Space Manufacturing and Cybe Drives following the launch of the CY series. These frigates were used in small numbers in the fleets of the Federation of Free Planets.

Characteristics

The CY-230 slightly resembled former Mon Calamari designs, especially the MC80 Liberty-type Star Cruiser in shape.

The ship was armed with the two basic cannons of Cyber Arms, the CA-1013 cannon and the CA-1203 cannon. The ship notoriously incorporated a new weapon, the CA-59 deployer, which had the ability to deploy CA-222 explosives. This allowed the ship to shake off any followers, along with the ship's enhanced speed.
