XS-5778, also known as Litt, was a clone trooper who served at Bakkah station. He participated in the Battle of Tibrin, as evidenced by his double stripe haircut, which was also the source of his name. It was also at the Battle of Tibrin where he lost both of his right leg and his right hand, resulting in them being replaced by cybernetics.

Biography[]

Battle of Tibrin[]

Mohawk was one of many clone troopers who participated at the Battle of Tibrin. However, during the fight, an explosion mangled his right leg and ripped his right hand off. He was taken from the battlefield, where his right leg were amputated and replaced with cybernetic reattachments, as was his hand. He was then declared unfit for battle and reassigned to a listening post on Bakkah. Following the Battle, Mohawk gained the double stripe haircut that most of the survivors of the Battle of Tibrin gained.

Bakkah[]

Following his reassignment, Mohawk was put to work as the replacement deck officer of Bakkah station, the previous one, Rook, having been reassigned himself to Stigma Squad. He resented his new position, and wished to return to combat. In his spare time, he would take a speeder bike and DC-15x sniper rifle, ride out into the deserts of Bakkah, and shoot down Tusken Raiders from a distance. When his superior officers discovered this, they were furious, and subsequently banned Mohawk from travelling unaccompanied or access to the listening post's armory.

Order 66[]

During the final days of the Clone Wars, the Jedi Knight Bdaris Telnari, came to Bakkah for an inspection, along with the Clone commander, of the 34th Legion, Arachnid, and six elite clone troopers. The sergeant of Bakkah station, Clanker, decided to have Mohawk help him escort Telnari and the Clone Commander around the base, in order to keep him out of trouble. However, during the inspection, Order 66 was activated, forcing the clones to turn against their general. However, when the clones attempted to gun down Telnari, a power droid walked into Mohawk, causing him to cry out in shock. This alerted Telnari, who turned to see his clones advancing on him with their blasters raised. He managed to disarm Mohawk by cutting off his cybernetic arm, before using the Force to send Clanker and the commander flying. Telnari used this time to escape. Mohawk was sent to the deck to see if Telnari had escape into the deserts of Bakkah, and spotted a figure speeding into the distance on a bike. Alerting the others, Mohawk was sent with Indigo, Bishop, Clanker and Arachnid to recover who they believed to be Telnari. The clone trooper Soundwave realized that it was a trick when he witnessed the base's only LAAT making an unathorised flight, and attempted to stop Telnari escaping by alerting the other clones. However, only the pilots of a Nu-class assault shuttle were close enough to respond, and took off after Telnari. Despite their efforts, they were shot down by a ship carrying a group of Antarian Rangers, who helped Telnari to escape.

Personality and traits[]

Mohawk was an extremely arrogant and cocky individual, with little to no respect for authority. The reason for his rebelliousness was due to him being confined to a listening post for much of the war after suffering a crippling injury that prevented him from fighting. He was also an extremely brutal fighter, often attempting to club foes to death with his blaster rifle. During his stay at Bakkah station, he attempted to alleviate boredom by slaughtering Tusken Raiders. When his sergeant found out, he subsequently banned Mohawk from entering the armory, or leaving the station unattended. Afterwards, Mohawk attempted to stop boredom by playing pool with his fellow clone troopers, most often Indigo. He was aware that he was disliked be fellow clone troopers Ratchet, Jolt and Soundwwave, and frequently tried to intimidate them. Despite this, he did have some respect for Clanker and Indigo, who he almost considered a friend.
