I have to do what I have to do. Now go! Get out of here. Let me deal with these metal bastards.
—Panaka's last words.

"Panaka", formerly designated CT-6101/6011, later redesignated as CC-6011, was a clone trooper captain of the Great Clone Forces who served for the Galactic Republic in the Second Clone Wars. A brave leader, Panaka often denied his own life in favor of saving his brothers. He was involved in numerous battles throughout the conflict, including several great battles.

His most noted service was during the mission to Garbo, where he led Broad Company in infiltrating a Dark Empire star destroyer while the rest of the 106th Attack Battalion assaulted the enemy frontside. In the end, the captain received countles blaster fire from at least sixty battle droids as the finisher for his life, in return for allowing the rest of Cocoa Squad to escape.

Biography[]

CT-6101/6011 was one of the millions of clones of Exhart Martineus bred on planet Kylone to serve as a clone trooper in the ranks of the Great Clone Forces. Prior to his service in the war, he earned the nickname Panaka from Commander Thort. He eventually began fighting for the Galactic Republic in the Second Clone Wars.

Panaka gained the rank of captain early into the war. Throughout the conflict, he once again met Thort whom he now befriended.

Panaka fought well and performed excellently throughout his years in the war. In 60 ABY, during a mission on planet Garbo, his whole company along with hundreds of others were sent to infiltrate an Imperial star destroyer which landed there. Republic intelligence suspected the crew of the destroyer to hold a fortune of information on the Empire's strategies for the war, thus informed the Chancellor who then ordered the clones to attack the destroyer.

Apparently, the star destroyer was prepared for the attack, and decimated most of the clone's forces. Panaka and a small part of his team managed to enter the destroyer secretly. After a few moments of travelling inside the ship through the ventilation systems, the clones discovered the control room. They engaged the droids, alerting the whole destroyer's crew. While defending themselves, they absorbed the files from the computer with a taskdrive.

Once finished, Panaka and his men ran out the room and head for the exit. By then, only Panaka and a few members of Cocoa Squad were left. They reached a small blast door which took a few minutes to open. The enemy droids arrived and the troopers were running through the blast door, just before Panaka ordered them to escape via a space pod and leave him alone to "deal with these metal bastards". As the last clone went through the door, Panaka himself fought with about sixty battle droids along the hallway. He was finally shot multiple times by the droids until he dropped to the floor.

Personality[]

Panaka was a fierce and disciplined captain, but he was also very fond of his men, who were technically his "brothers", and he also showed strong patriotism and obedience towards the Galactic Republic, both evident when he fought enemy battle droids alone for his remaining teammates to escape. There was nothing more that he cared for rather than the safety of his team, which was also quite fond of him. Through fighting many battles since the beginning of the war, Panaka became rough and turned into a stone-cold killer.

Appearance[]

Panaka had black eyes, black hair and olive skin. He kept his beard merely shaved. His back was torn in a manner of slashing from top right to bottom left.

Behind the scenes[]

Captain Panaka was obviously (through his image and death) based on canon Captain Keeli from the Clone Wars.
