CC-3527, nicknamed "Cobalt", was a Clone Regimental Commander who served in the Grand Army of the Republic's 96th Legion of clone troopers. Commander Cobalt was recognized as the most senior clone trooper within the legion and fought alongside Jedi General Jon Ternath and Jedi Commander Jedaana Lokka in many battles throughout the Clone Wars. Upon the execution of Order 66 during the Battle of Lagobah, Cobalt executed his Jedi General without hesitation but failed to eliminate Jedaana Lokka. CC-3527 later served the Galactic Empire, disregarding his nickname and eventually leaving the 96th Legion to become a Purge Trooper Commander, being one of the few early-generation clones to serve in the Inquisitorius. CC-3527 was killed by his former ally Jedaana Lokka during the Battle of Yoivasca in 15 BBY.
