Byron was a Imperial agent in the Sith Empire. Originally, Byron worked for Naiko, but after he left to form an alliance with Darth Exitium, he was replaced with Roderick Willport. Some time after the Riots of Kaas City, Byron discovered the Ebon Hawk and after realizing the owners have not returned to it in a long while, decided to take it for his own. With the Ebon Hawk under Byron's ownership, he retooled the ship by coloring the exterior black, added in a stealth field generator, and named it the Night Vulture.
Byron participated in the Battle of Khar Delba in which, by orders, he destroyed an destroyed the entire battle field, killing the entire enemy force but at the heavy cost of his own people and including his own team, whom he had developed a strong friendship with. Since then, Byron has been haunted by there deaths and even years after he still could not get over it. Byron became an alcoholic addict in attempt to forget but even still he couldn't.
In 3,933 BBY, Byron was sent, with a small team, to rescue any survivor's from the outbreak on the Kalakar Six research facility. It is here Byron's fate and destiny would be tied to something greater. Now traveling with The Dark Hero, Byron flew the Night Vulture across the galaxy and along the way revisited Khar Delba. Hoping to finally gain some peace, Byron went into the heart of the wreckage graveyard and lay his blaster.
Determined to help end the war, Byron continued to aid the Dark Hero and eventually participated in the final battle at Dromund Kaas. Byron was apart of the rid on the Depressor and during this time his superior Roderick is killed, leaving Byron in charge. Byron continued on with the last of his remaining team and confronted Naiko in a final battle on the bridge.
After the war ended, Byron became the new Minister of Intelligence. When The Dark Hero returned to Dromund Kaas, after being missing for nearly three months, the two said their final goodbye's before The Dark Hero went to fight the Emperor.
Personality and traits[]
Byron was pretty cynical and moody due to a combination of his horrible actions and his alcoholic addiction. While traveling together with Scarlet, the two were at odds partly in because of their styles in handling situations and also because he felt Scarlet was too hot-headed. Being an Imperial Agent, Byron was trained in the art of stealth and sabotage.
After visiting the ruins on Bosthirda, Byron paid his respects to the lost lives he caused and was determined to help end the war. After killing Naiko, Byron became the new Minister of Intelligence and caption of the Depressor while his previous ship, The Night Vulture, went into the hands of The Dark Hero. Since Byron fulfilled his promise, he admits to The Dark Hero in their last conversation that he's taking the first steps from recovering from his alcoholism and letting go of his haunted past.
