Bronze Squadron was a starfighter squadron that served the Alliance to Restore the Republic and New Republic during the Galactic Civil War.

History

Led by Commander Marz Nael, the squadron was composed of modified BTL-A4 Y-wing assault starfighter/bombers and participated in the battles of Tatooine, Sullust, Endor, Malastare, Kuat, Fondor, and Jakku. During the Battle of Jakku, the entire squadron was wiped out and Commander Nael was shot down, though he survived and spent the remainder of the battle fighting on the ground.

Nael later retrieved and repaired his starfighter, which he flew in numerous intelligence operations for the New Republic using his CR90 corvette Bronze One as a command center.
