Broken Hill was the popular name given to the main military compound on Bucheshan. Broken Hill headquartered the Adeptis Uralis and contained various training facilities for recruits as they took the Adeptan Trials at the start of their careers. It had since gained a fearsome and notorious reputation in Gargan's Empire for the grueling, brutal challenges and procedures that took place which transformed ordinary Force-sensitives into Ur-Warriors. It was also the seat of the Holy Tribunal and housed a central citadel where the Exarch resided.
Entrance to Broken Hill was strictly limited. Only members of the Adeptis Uralis or the Gargan himself could enter. Neither the Order of Gargan, members of the Landsmeet, or military officials had clearance to enter. It was rumored that Broken Hill also featured secret rooms where human experimentation was being conducted.
