The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on fanonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

Old Republic era

In 1,384 BBY, the Breld Syndicate maintained a facility on Tenara in the Gordian Reach, which served as a plant for manufacturing the Syndicate's nuclear weapons. After evacuating its former production plant on Hypori, the Syndicate relocated to a taiga in Tenara's northern hemisphere, located nearly 250 kilometers from the closest city, Condiltown.

Design[]

The plant was located entirely underground, apart from a small bunker entrance. Most of the facility was built of duracrete, not only to minimize expense, but also to reduce imports of durasteel (and decrease the likelihood of the facility being discovered). The site also had lead lining on chambers which housed nuclear materials, and sensor jammers capable of blocking all but the most focused orbital sensors.

It included an ultracentrifuge for refining materials (including uranium, plutonium, and baradium), a particle accelerator, banks of supercomputers for running simulations on test designs, a forge capable of producing duracrete and casting durasteel, an electromagnetic wave generator, and assembly rooms for the packaging of explosive materials and the completion of finished weapons. An enormous hypermatter reactor powered the facility.

Apart from the chambers used to manufacture and test weapons, the campus included dormitories and meeting rooms for the staff and a hangar bay which could fit a small transport, as well as a set of airspeeders.

History[]

The Syndicate was operating on Hypori in late 1,386 BBY, but evacuated the following years, some months ahead of Imperial Intelligence. Seeking a venue very different from desolate Hypori, Darqyren Valt and Selmatri Furne relocated to Tenara's wintry forests, constructing their base underground to avoid suspicion and detection. Argus Z'dar and his Crusaders were involved in helping the Syndicate relocate in some capacity.

The Tenara base constructed and provided Z'dar with a number of nuclear weapons, of various sizes and yields. After the destruction of Deep Storage Facility 214-Peth, the Republic began a hunt for the Syndicate. Around the same time, Qerriz, a Verpine droid engineer, attempted to defect to the Republic. Though he was killed on Bogg 14, and Z'dar destroyed the entire moon, his information reached the Jedi, who targeted the Tenara base.

Jedi Knight Kenza Rowkwani led a Republic Special Forces Division assault on the facility, taking it intact and capturing Darqyren Valt. Specialists from Republic Intelligence broke down the facility, while the Shadow Commandos erased evidence of the Jedi Order's involvement.
