Post-Legacy era

When Queen Rin Sakaros installed her sister-in-law, Princess Breek Zagrev, as a Royal Executor in 154 ABY, Rin gave Breek a fleet to assist her in various border campaigns to defend and expand the Golden Empire.

Composition[]

At Breek's request, she was granted the Valkyrie, her flagship from the Ssi-ruuvi Incursion and the Nightmare War, as the flagship of her new fleet, eschewing larger and more powerful command ships as she had done in the past.

Unwilling to leave her Executor without a major capital ship to form the core of her offense, Rin also gave Breek the Assassin, a battle-tested Imperial Star Destroyer. The Assassin was the heavy of Breek's fleet, supplemented by the Keltrayu-class heavy cruiser Quasar Lance, and Breek used both in Bisecting Drives whenever the opportunity presented itself. Breek often kept the Firebird cruiser Thunderbolt near the Valkyrie as well. Other capital ships in the fleet included the Iomisian Prelate, the Hurricane, and the Diamond Eye.

The fleet had numerous fighter squadrons; the most famous was Pinpoint Squadron, an elite bomber unit headquartered aboard the Valkyrie.

Crew[]

A seasoned field commander in space and on the ground, Breek personally commanded her fleet in battle during most of its engagements. When she delegated command, it was often to Augu Pentag, the captain of the Valkyrie. Captains Sak'anto'nussos of the Assassin and Amarchi Hallabin of the Quasar Lance were usually tasked with assuming command of the bulk of the fleet if Breek detached the Valkyrie for some reason. Shelin Laraste, who served aboard the Assassin, was Breek's senior ground tactical advisor.

Because of Breek's status as a Royal Executor, she was assigned Royal Guard protection; Zeth Kezzerek, Aearbo Manitani, and Serasuna Yun all served Breek aboard the Valkyrie. The Chiss Vos'elk'eetash was also assigned to the fleet in its early years, though she usually remained aboard the Assassin. Other Centurions were temporarily detailed to the fleet as needed. Breek's apprentice, Jinyx Windrunner, was also stationed aboard the fleet.

History[]

Rin constituted the fleet in 154 ABY and dispatched Breek to patrol the borders of the Empire. The entire fleet rarely returned to the interior of the Empire; when Breek had a need to go deep into Royal territory, she often departed with the Valkyrie and a handful of other support ships, leaving the bulk of her fleet under the command of one of her captains.

Breek used her fleet to hunt Blazing Chain, and it participated in the Battles of Chimet and Renthiv.
