Botar was a bizarre being of unknown origin and species, who was assigned by the celestials to transport the galaxy's most heinous criminals to the prison known as the Pit on the planet Ghalon Mahri .

Botar is credited with transporting the Barraki to the Pit.

Biology and Appearance[]

Botar's species is unknown, but it is believed he may share some connection with the celestials. Physically, Botar was quite impressive: He stood over 3 meters tall and was packed with powerful muscle. His body seemed metallic in nature. His hands were clawed and his mouth was brimming with metallic teeth, and he had massive spiked ears giving him the slight appearance of a cat or hyena. He held a short handled, double bladed rotating battle axe in one hand, but due to his huge size he used it more as a fist weapon than a swinging axe. Both his wrists were equipped with sharp blades.

Botar possessed a unique teleporting ability that was unmatched by anything even the celestials were capable of. Botar was able, with little physical effort, to teleport instantly between locations light years apart. He used this ability to travel to whatever world housed a candidate for the pit, and to teleport such a being to the pit should that be necessary.

Personality and Traits[]

Botar left quite an impression on the rare few who ever encountered him. Those who did described him as being obsessed with the one duty he had: Teleporting criminals to the pit. He had strong belief in harsh justice and punishment and no mercy whatsoever. He would never bring anyone to the pit who wasnt sufficiently guilty of crimes, but when a being was guilty, he would stop at nothing to capture them. Botar was harsh with anyone attempting to defend a victim, threatening them with the same fate should they stand in his way.

Botar was last seen transporting Brutaka to the Pit. After this, the celestials insisted the crimes that would normally carry the sentance of imprisonment in the pit be changed to the death penalty.

Infuriated, Botar vanished.
