Boss also known as John Sculley was an Imperial commando serving as leader of Delta Squad during the Imperial-Chiss war.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Boss was originally born on Dux. He spent the first twelve years of his life studying military tactics and history due to the fact that his world had produced countless legendary military leadears for the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire. His parents were both in the Imperial military.
His father was a capitain of an Imperial class star destroyer and his mother was an Imperial intelligence officer. Due to the fact that his parents were both in the Imperial military and his homeworld long and proud military history it was inevitable that he would join the Imperial military. Which he eventually did.
Moving to Wild Space[]
Shortly following the Rebel victory at the first Battle of Yavin, Emperor Palpatine created the Imperial Expeditionary Force not only to conquer the Unknown Regions but also to create Imperial colonies to send resources back to the greater Empire. Bosses parents were both offered a position in the IEF and his parents were transferred to Wild Space and they took their son John with them. It was the first time Boss had left his planet.
Boss was amazed by the fact that there was so much to see in the Galaxy. Only a few hours after getting on the IEF ship and leaving Dux for Wild Space did their ship finally arrive at a planet that would eventually be named Bastion which was in Wild Space.
Imperial Academy[]
Boss shortly after landing on Bastion began asking his father whether he could join the Imperial Academy that would eventually be built. His father wasn't sure if his son joining the Imperial Academy was a good thing. But after enough pestering John's father eventually allowed John to join the Imperial Academy on Bastion. Shortly after joining the Imperial Academy John was given a test that would decide what type of carear he would have in the IEF military. He scored low for being a storm trooper or a pilot but as a commando he got a perfect score. His perfect score for being a commando resulted in him immeditely beginning his traing for being a commando.
Traning Squad D[]
Due to his perfect score John was made the leadear of a commando squad that was officially called Traning Squad D. But unofficially his squad was known delinquent squad due to the fact that John's fellow squad mates had caused trouble on their home planets and also due to the fact that Johns fellow squad mates had little respect for authority. The Academy figured that this squad would wash out of the Academy do the fact that three members of the squad were not model Imperial trainees.
But John would prove the Academy wrong and over the next six years John would turn his squad into the best squad at the Academy. Also John who would later be called Boss due to the fact that he was the leadear of the Squad. John would become good friends with his fellow squad members. Eventually Squad D completed it's trainging.
Graduation[]
At the graduation ceremony at the Imperial Academy on Bastion for the first gruadating class all the familiys of the graduating Imperial cadets. John and his fellow members of Squad D were surprised that they had graduated as the top cadet squad and were equally surprised that the instructors were happy about this. During the party after graduation John's father congratulates John and his squad mates for graduating and Johns father tells his son how proud he is.
John thanks his father and John enjoy's the rest of the graduating party.
First mission[]
In the morning after the graduation party Boss and his fellow commandos of newly formed Delta Squad report for their first mission briefing at Bastion command. Delta Squad was surprised and happy at the same time that the person who was briefing them was the famous Grand Admiral Thrawn. Thrawn informed the Deltas that on the Unknown Region world of Exul there was a Nagai warlord named Bellicus who was living in exile on the planet.
Thrawn told the commandos that this warlord was one of the few obstacles that stood in the way of a Nagai-IEF alliance and his death would advance the goals of the IEF. The briefing concluded and the Delta's were dismissed and left for the hangar to begin their mission.
Blue milk run[]
Demo as the commandos walked toward the hanger joked that the mission would be a blue milk run. But Boss said not to jink us. Slicer interjected and said the mission would probably be semi difficult. And Havoc finally talked and said he hoped that he would be able to kill something. And they continue to joke and talk about the mission until they got to the hangar and met their pilot Red. The Delta's get into an imperial shuttle modified for commando missions. Red piloting the shuttle leaves the hangar and they head for Exul.
As the shuttle nears the surface of Exul the shuttle begins taking Nagai anti aircraft fire and despite Red's piloting skill the shuttle crashes.
The long walk[]
Delta squads shuttle crashes several miles away from the warlords fortress and unfornately the shuttles pilot Red was killed in the crash. After the Deltas get out of the wreckage of the shuttle, Boss joked that any crash you walk away from is a good crash. The rest of the squad didn't think this was so funny. Boss and the rest of Delta Squad walked for several hours and killed any Nagai patrols they came in to contact with. Eventually Boss and the rest of Delta Squad made their way to a small hill not to far away from Bellicus fortress.
Infiltrating the fortress[]
Boss quickly realized from scouting the warlords fortresss that a direct assault on the fortress would be suicide due to the fact it was too heavily fortified . Boss realized that Delta Squad needed to take a more covert approach to safely get in to Bellicus fortress. Havoc quickly spotted an entrance into the entrance via the sewer. Delta Squad quickly made its way to the sewer entrance and Demo quickly set up explosives on the sewer entrance and after backing up a few feet Demo detonated the explosives and the Delta's rushed into the sewer only a few seconds after the explosives had went off.
