Rise of the Empire era

The Blockade of the Jurl-fon system happened in 15 BBY after the Jurl-fon monarchy took Imperial governor Besol Aysonn and several members of the Imperial embassy prisoner in an attempt to gain leverage in a dispute with Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. Tarkin responded by immediately having the Jurl-fon system blockaded.

Jurl-fon system blockaded[]

Admiral Orphillon Fliche was sent to oversee the blockade, which lasted seven months. During that period there were several skirmishes between Imperial and Jurl-fon forces. The final month escalated into an all out war in which the Jurl-fon forces were crushed. Much of the fighting up to that point hhad been done by starfighter pilots such as VP-01-3/2060 in an Imperial TIE starfighter and Jurl-fon Z-95 Headhunter pilots like the Clone Wars veteran Dak Reenlos.

Result[]

After the blockade ended, King Gelarhad was arrested and the Empire assumed control of the star system and Tarkin appointed a new king of the Jurl-fon, ensuring the system would remain loyal.
