The Black Iron was a modified Osk-class cruiser and the headquarter of the Nestoman pirates. After it was stolen by the pirates during the Battle of Ghomrassen in 240 ABY, it was modified by Nestoman who improved some of its systems, like the engines and the hyperdrive.
The Black Iron saw action in many fightings, and with its armament it helped the smaller starships of Nestoman's fleet. In 247 ABY, the Black Iron hosted Sakrask who was joining Nestoman and his organization. Just after the meeting, the Black Iron flew to Malastare to help a group of Nestoman pirates being ambushed by Triumvirate forces. Succeeding in defeating the enemies, and gaining the help of Yamill gang, suddenly Nestoman flew to a rendez-vous in the Colonies with the Aldeena, a starship involved in the mass escape from the Coruscanti prison Low City Detenction Center.
