Black Eight Squadron was an elite Imperial Navy squadron of TIE pilots that served Darth Vader personally. They were known as one of the most brutal, loyal, and effective squadrons in the Navy. Black Eight had a high turnover rate. After Vader's death over Endor in 4 ABY, it was disbanded.
