Bernie Jabesq was a Human male who lived on Naboo during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. Around 32 BBY, he and his friend Nici Burrén worked as Engineers at the main hangar of Theed when the Trade Federation launched their invasion on the planet. Years later, during the late Clone Wars, Bernie and Nici worked in the hangar until the witnessed Aurra Sing kill Chamberlyn when she was trying to escape from Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. Bernie and Nici attempted to stop, but they were both shot by the deadly Bounty hunter before the could draw out their pistols.
