Ben, born Ben Skywalker, was the son of Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade Skywalker. He was additionally the cousin of hero Anakin Solo, Yuuzhan Vong War Hero and Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Caedus and Jedi Master Jaina Solo Fel, Cousin-in-law to Jagged Fel. He was the Nephew of Leia Organa Solo and Han Solo, Grandson of Jedi Knight and Sith Lord Anakin Skywalker who later became named Darth Vader, and former Naboo Queen and Senator Padmé Amidala.
Learning that his father had had a secret illegitimate daughter with another woman before Ben had even been born or his parents married, the stress of the recent five years have all grown to a point where Ben was starting to lose his way and had since fallen into anger with his family, his father in particular. This all reaches a head however with the appearance of Khaos, a Force wielder entity that represents the Dark side through the Sith in both species and physiology, who continues to bait him further and further from the path of the Jedi and the Light side of the Force.
