Belxoo was a gas giant in the freestanding Farana sector of Wild Space. It had over two thousand moons. Among the moons there were several mining stations and at least one trading post in Miner Station 30 on Belxoo 940.
The first moons to be colonized were Belxoo 98, Belxoo 342, and Belxoo 1478 in 116 BBY by the Ocsinin. More colonists, Gran, Nosaurians, and Duros from the Core worlds, to settle Belxoo 74 in 53 BBY A wave of about three hundred immigrants arrived to settle some of the moons circa 17 BBY. In 13 BBY, Jaxe Minzo and a team of Imperial clone commandos hunted down the Jedi Knight Rann I-Kanu on Belxoo 1138. Darth Vader arrived and killed the Jedi after he was located. A Noghri assassin named Ghok’rahbid also did some service for Darth Vader among the moons of Belxoo at some point. 4 ABY saw the largest wave of colonists in the history of Belxoo when nearly eight thousand settlers arrived from the Chaama sector. They built Belxoo City on Belxoo 1172 and it covered most of the small moon. Belxoo 1083 had a starfighter production facility built on it in 36 ABY and several hundred Ugnaught and Sluissi immigrants from Praesitlyn came to work at it.
