The Battle over Tatooine occured when Confederate Navy Admiral Zexi 'Nrahom found out about the Republic's recent discovery of the planet of Tatooine holding very valuable resources that would boost up the side that captured. At first, Nakamura Security and Defence PMCs denied that they would share it with the Republic but eventually agreed to after they learned of the C.I.S. invasion, blockading the planet's orbit from any reinforcements.
It would later be revealed that the Destroyer of Peace was the flagship of the separatist blockade, after of which Zexi requested additional ships but was denied as there weren't any available starships or fleets as they were more busy helping the Navy of another Confederacy organization in the Solar System region of the galaxy.
Prelude[]
A week before the battle, Nakamura PMCs were contracted to protect an officer of the Republic Navy who had deserted the military and held valuable information of both the Galactic Republic and Tatooine, itself, thus making him a big target.
Two days later a mysterious hooded warrior had penetrated the PMCs, who were able to contact their superiors about Tatooine, and then went after the officer to kill him and make sure that he did not release, or give out, information to any potential threats such as criminal organizations that would expose Supreme Chancellor Palpatine's true identify as a double agent.
The battle[]
Arriving in orbit, two starships of Venator-class Heavy Cruisers and four Acclamator frigates come out of hyperspace and descend into the atmosphere as the two cruisers form a small sized blockade to prevent any intruder from passing by and disrupting the Republic's progress to extracting the valuable resources and deploying clone troopers along with more Nakamura PMCs.
