The massive Battle of Vryvon was the second battle occured in The Second Clone Wars. It involved The Galactic Republic and The Dark Empire of Raging Droids. The battle occured on the wild, but rich-with-minerals planet, Vryvon.
Background[]
After scanning up the whole planet of Vryvon, The Republic decided it would be the best planet to build a new base, while the one in Arcoha is still being repaired, eventhough the mission would be too risky. Coincidentally, The Empire was also looking forward to invade the same planet. Although both sides were targetting the uncivilized planet, each forces didn't even know about the plans of their opposing factions, respectively. This caused a battle between The Republic and The Empire.
Although The Society was also planning to invade the planet, they stood behind to aid their military forces.
The battle[]
Patrols[]
"Baseship, this is Echo-26. There's no signs of enemy threat, sir. Should we stop our patrolling and head back to the ship? I'm just worried I could lose my m-- What the..?! Sir! We're spotting some of The-- Argh!"
-A Lead Captain clone trooper to The Republic's spaceship, moments before his death after spotting The Empire's battle droids, while patrolling the jungles of Vryvon with his team.
The Republic landed their spaceship supposely at the same time The Empire landed theirs on the face of Vryvon. Things were dark. Everything was dark. Both sides could see nothing outside their ships and decided to send patrol teams to look around their landing areas, respectively, and the jungles around them. Suddenly, after a few hours of patrolling and killing beasts, The Republic's clone trooper patrol was discovered by The Empire's patrolling battle droids. Without wasting time, the battle droids killed the clone troopers. The Lead Captain, before the droids attacked his team, didn't waste anytime either. He contacted The Republic base to inform them, but before he can finish his sentence he was shot by a battle droid to death. This made The Republic feel concerned if there was any faction landed on Vryvon other than themselves, though they assumed that the troopers were killed by beasts of the planet and that the gunshots were only from their own guns. Although, still worried about the disappearance, The Republic sent out some search parties to make sure of what had happened. The Empire, on the other hand, were informed by their patrol droids about theirr confrontation with the clones. The Empire were then aware of the situation, where The Republic has landed on Vryvon. Believing that The Republic were also aware of their presence, The Empire then fortified their landing area in order to protect themselves from being terribly attacked by The Republic. Their patrol droids, though, didn't make it back to the ship as they were horribly struck by sudden lightnings and thunderstorms.
Search for the missings[]
"Royalbird to Baseship. I repeat, Team Royalbird to Baseship. We've found Squad Echo-26. They're all dead. We'll bring their corpses back for autopsy. Over. Hey, Mac. Look at this. Looks kinda like laser shots. Wait, ya hear that? There, in the bushes. What the--?! Damn! Kill that thing! Hopper!! Mac, get up. Keep shootin', lads. Keep shoo-- MAC! NOOO!!! Baseship, this is Royalbird. Do not send out anymore search parties. Repeat, do not send any-- Urlk!"
-Transmission from Platoon Leader of Team Royalbird 2-1 from The Republic, moments before being slaughtered by deadly Frycons.
The search party sent by the Republic, Team Royalbird 2-1, have found the missing Squad Echo-26. Although, they were already dead. The Platoon Leader of Royalbird told Baseship that they will bring back the corpses for autopsy, to make sure of their causes of death. When the Platoon Leader finished his report, he forgot to turn off his mic, which caused Baseship to accidentally hear the on-going transmission. In the transmission, they heard that the Platoon Leader saw holes on the bodies as if they were killed by lasershots. Suddenly, the Platoon Leader heard noisy rustlings in some nearby bushes. He suspected that it was sme beasts of Vryvon. The clone troopers got near to see what caused the rustling. To their dismay, a starving adult male Frycon appeared from the bushes. It attacked them and the clones opened fire towards it, causing it to be angry. The raging Frycon killed a few clone troopers of the team. Then, appeared another starving Frycon. The two beasts killed most of the clone troopers causing Royalbird to lose 3/4 of their members. A clone trooper named Hopper was horribly killed by the first Frycon. His upper body was nearly cut off in one bite and he was swallowed whole by the Frycon. Hopper's body was burned inside the Frycon's flaming internal digestive systems. The second Frycon then shot fireballs at the clones causing them to fall down. Mac, whose right leg was injured, was helped up by his best friend the Platoon Leader. The clones were moving back to retreat. But, the clones were too late to escape. They were all killed by the two Frycons, leaving only Mac and the Platoon Leader to survive. Though not for long. One of the Frycons spat a fireball at them, which expoded, throwing the two a bit far apart. When the leader opened his eyes, he saw Mac being eaten by one of the Frycons. The leader then got up and continued shooting the beasts. While doing so, he tried to warn Baseship with his mic, but when he was about to repeat the warning, the Platoon Leader's abdomen was pierced through his back by a mutated Frycon's razor-sharp tail, killing the trooper who fell down on his face. Spooked by the second disappearance, The Republic finally decided to fortify their area, to protect themselves from any further threat of the wild.
Activation of satellite[]
0300 hours, The Empire contacted their main base and requested for a space radar satellite for reconaissance purposes. As they were granted permission, The Empire's delivery department sent a satellite of the kind the Vryvon ship requested for. When the spaceship arrived, it landed and opened itself, revealing a rocket that was to be launched to space in order to deploy the satellite in it. After its preparations were done, the rocket was ready to be launched into Vryvon's atmosphere. Launched into the deep, cold space, the satellite was then activated, at the push of a button by a battle droid commander, giving the Empire base the exact location of The Republic base, Baseship.
Assaulting the Republican base[]
The Empire have finished their army to assault Baseship. After some last-minute checks, the droids were ordered by their general to launch the attack. Once they marched away from their base, a huge storm occured and heavy rain fell.
