The Battle of Thyferra was a battle during the Sith Crusade and the opening engagement of the Sith Civil War.
Prologue[]
Following Abeonis' failure to kill Luke Skywalker during the Duel on Gand many Sith Lords had begun to see Abeonis as a failing Dark Lord, and one to be removed.
Abeonis, knowing that the Sith Crusade was taking it strain on StarFleet Commands ranks, knew that he had to avoid all out civil war. But he failed, for within two weeks of his failure Thyferra, a planet recently conquered by the Sith cut off all transmissions. The commanding officer on the planet, Darth Iiniuria had been an individual closely watched by Darth Abeonis and this just proved his worst fears. Rebellion had begun.
Battle[]
The battle begun with an orbital bombardment of Thyferra by the Sith Knights Darth Alectasa and Darth Validus which destroyed most of the planet's cities and heavily damaged the capital.
Whilst Alectasa's flagship bombarded the planet's surface the two Sith Knights made their way down towards the planet with their attack force, ready to sneak up upon the rebel forces. And once they did, it was a bloody battle. After many hours of conflict Alectasa left their forces in Validus' capable hands and made his way around the rebel forces; sneaking into Iiniuria's complex.
Dueling Iiniuria[]
Engaging Iiniuria in combat, Alectasa proved himself a capable warrior, but inexperienced. Iiniuria's however did show, at first.
As Alectasa began to gain an advantage Iiniuria began to fear for her life. Striking Alectasa with a strong gust of Force energy and knocking him too the floor she fled, only to narrowly avoid being sliced in half by Validus blade.
Validus, who had just recently arrived began to attack Iiniuria and was soon joined by Alectasa. Being attacked from both sides, Iiniuria knew the battle was lost and in one last desperate attempt to survive began to eat away at their minds from within. However this attempt failed as both had been trained against mental attacks.
Alectasa ended the duel with a swing of Mou kei, dismembering Iiniuria's legs.
Aftermath[]
Following the battle, the two Jedi that had been sent to assist Iiniruia made their escape, successfully avoiding being detected by the Sith Knights.
Alectasa and Validus however made their return to Korriban, prisoner in tow and were promoted to the rank of Sith Lord. Granted a starbase as reward and inducted into the Sith Trinite.
