Battle of Saraleca was a battle in 995 ABY, over and on the planet Saraleca, that ended the Third Galactic Civil War with the defeat of Darth Kreka and his Sith Empire.

Prelude

Jedi Lieutenant Grand Master Louie Skywalker was commanding a ship of Jedi, leading back from the planet Xindarg to Coruscant, after the Xindarg Crisis. As their ship was passing the barely inhabited extragalactic planet Saraleca, they were attacked by a squad of Sith Fighters and Darth Kreka's personal flagship, the Revenge of the Sith.

Battle

The Sith attacked the Jedi, quickly dismantling Light of the Jedi, and boarding it. Emperor Dark Kreka took over command of the Light, while his Lieutenant, Darth Aeternus, stayed on board Revenge of the Sith, Darth Kreka then boarded a Starfighter and pursued Skywalker to the planet's surface, to which he was escaping. On the planet's surface, he and Aeturnus engaged Skywalker in a duel. Aeternus was killed early on, and Kreka and Skywalker fought before each stabbing each other in the chest. With his last breath, Kreka launched the Argenta Thought Bomb.

Aftermath

Although the battle was a victory for the Empire, this victory was short-lived. As Kreka launched the Argenta Thought Bomb, he deployed a Thought bomb that killed every Force-Sensitive in the galaxy, except those on the planet Saraleca, for it was under the field of the Device's effect. Thus, the only survivor was Jason Skywalker, who, along with his mother had been marooned there during the battle. The launch of the Bomb won the Allliance the war, as the entire Empire was made up of Force-Sensitive Sith, and it collapsed without them.

Behind the scenes

This battle was created to make an opening scene for Star Wars Tales of the Amplifier: The New Sith Empire. It was based on the opening scene in Star Trek.
