The Battle of Rubutu was a brief and violent exchange between the forces of the Reawakened led by Merita Ot'kyn and the Xoquon Sector Fleet under the command of Tarse Medrego. The Dark Jedi battle group attacked Rubutu, but Medrego's fleet responded before the enemy could launch a ground assault. While Medrego and his fleet dueled the enemy capital ships, Praetor Te`net Organi and several of his Centurions led boarding parties of Royal Marines onto enemy ships to disable them from the inside.
The battle was a rout for the Dark Jedi forces, which lost several capital ships before withdrawing. Merita Ot'kyn himself was killed in a duel with Organi, and the Qua Centurion and two of his comrades set charges to blow up the enemy flagship from the inside.
