Battle of Hoth was a devastating battle occurred during the Second Clone Wars. This battle led to near-destruction of the ice planet, Hoth, as it occurred on the snowy-mountains world. Advanced nuclear technologies and mass radioactive weapons somehow caused the snow on the planet to fully melt at a short period of time. And they were turned into high-tempered molten lava that spread across the planet, all along the surface of Hoth right from the bombing point which caused the strange nuclear reaction.
Fought between the Galactic Republic and the small, newly-formed faction, , the battle was horrible as many others that had happened in the war. It caused millions to die. It caused a whole huge planet to "be turned around, its nature".

When the battle on Hoth had ended, all of the snow that has ever existed on the planet was melted to pure, nuclear-created lava that melted all forces that fought on it. The rocks and mountains of the planet have fallen and were 'torn' to pieces. The lands and surfaces of Hoth were turned to huge lakes and pools of lava in mere seconds, though, more specifically, the whole planet was transformed into a sea of lava containing destroyed rocks.
