The Battle of Eredenn was an attack on Eredenn, a planet on which the experimental tank Decimator was being built on, by the Confederacy of Independent Systems in order to capture the weapon from the Galactic Republic. The CIS was successful, led by General Sev'rance Tann and several other prominent officers, taking possession of the tank while inflicting heavy casualties on the Republic. The clone troopers of the 87th Garrison, along with their commander, Kraen Weest, and Wookiee allies, were wiped out.
