The Battle of Ando was an engagement in the Southeast Mid Rim Campaign in the fifth month of 1,385 BBY. After a series of minor victories by forces under the command of Jedi Master Kussam Bnodd, culminating in the capture of Ando, Darshkére ordered Darth Nyewlk'ek to attack Bnodd and draw him out. Darshkére promised to come at Nyewlk'ek's call, trapping Bnodd's fleet between them.
Nyewlk'ek engaged Bnodd, but Darshkére—who had lost faith in Nyewlk'ek as a commander—did not answer the summons, leading Nyewlk'ek's battle group to be routed. Nyewlk'ek himself was killed in the engagement.
