The Battle of Aleen was a devastating battle fought between the Grand Army of the Republic and the droid army of the CIS. After the battle, in which many clones, Jedi and Dark Acolytes perished, both sides laid claim to victory. In truth, neither side were victorious, as both factions incurred heavy losses.
Prelude[]
Three standard days before the actual battle took place, the Jedi Council sent 6 Jedi on a mission to the Aleena homeworld of Aleen. The team, made up of Masters Kit Fisto, Pablo-Jill, Tsui Choi and Ned'lx'mz, as well as Jedi Knights Greplieps and Ronoc. The Jedi had been sent to protect Senators Sweit Concorkill and starwars:Bogg Tyrell from a possible assassination attempt by a group of dissident Jedi who had defected to the Separatists. The group of Jedi arrived on Aleen, and reported to Senator Tyrell's mansion, in which Concorkill was also staying.
Later that night, the mansion was attacked by a group of Jedi, led by Kindee Ya, Renrill Scrut, Kirrewa, Dutan Kelliv and Panaysha. Ronoc and Greplieps were killed, while Pablo-Jill and Kit Fisto were seriously injured. Although Kindee Ya, Panaysha and several other of the kidnappers had been killed, the rest managed to capture the two senators and escape with them via speeder bikes. The remaining Jedi followed them, and they soon confronted their captors in an abandoned warehouse. After defeating at least half a dozen dissident Jedi, Fisto, Jill, Choi and Ned engaged Kirrewa, Scrut, Dutan Kelliv and the leader of the group, Mei Sien in a vicious lightsaber battle.
With the Jedi looking to emerge victorious, Dark Jedi Sora Bulq, arrived, knocking out Ned'lx'mz and Pablo-Jill. With Kit Fisto and Tsui Choi outnumbered, the remaining dissident Jedi, Sora Bulq, Dutan Kelliv, Mei Sien and Kirrewa, prepared to execute the two Jedi Masters. However, realizing that he had fallen to the dark side foiled Kelliv's attempt to execute Tsui Choi, killing the Arconan with his purple lightsaber. Bulq then engaged Sien in a short duel, before wounding the tiny Gossam, an fleeing the warehouse, along with Kirrewa and their two hostages.
