It was commanded by [[starwars:Admiral|Admiral]] [[Enrit Falor]] and was made up of many [[starwars:Venator-class Star Destroyer|''Venator''-class Star Destroyers]], [[starwars:Acclamator-class transgalactic military assault ship|''Acclamator''-class assault ships]], [[starwars:Arquitens-class light cruiser|''Arquitens''-class light cruisers]], and various other [[starwars:Capital ship|capital ships]] and [[starwars:Starfighter|starfighter]] [[starwars:Squadron|squadrons]], the exact number of which fluctuated throughout the [[starwars:Clone Wars|Clone Wars]]. These vessels were capable of transporting several [[starwars:Legion|legions]] of [[starwars:Clone trooper|clone troopers]], including the [[96th Legion]]. During the latter half of the Clone Wars, Battle Group Iota-4 played a major role in offensive operations against the Confederacy, especially the forces of [[Marshal General]] [[Yosip Zagoonga]].
