The Barking Bantha was a modified freighter owned and used as a smuggling craft by members of the infamous Quill clan for several generations. Once owned by the Imperial courier Benton Fissur, the ship came under the ownership of his co-pilot, Anton Quill, who became an ally of the Rebel Alliance.
