—Baritth
Baritth was a... (expand and explain)
Description
Surface
Barrith is a highly volcanically active planet. The planet was uninhabited. Most of the surface of the planet was covered in black sand. Many wells of lava sprung up from the ground, though those formations primarily bordered the equator. The polar regions of the planet while small quickly became dormant, the cool lava tubes below the surface have caved in forming cliffs that further shield from the heat outside.
Weather
The weather was extreme and sand storms often picked up within minutes. The planet regularly reached temperatures well over 100 degrees though it did have dormant areas which were much cooler. The planet has a strong electromagnetic field that encompasses the inner moon . Without the electromagnetic field, in one minute you would be subjected to 30 times the solar radiation traditionally considered fatal.
Orbit
This planet was unique in orbiting three stars. Barrith had an S-Type Orbit. The planet orbited the red giant, which was caught in the binary orbital system with a less dense white dwarf. A red dwarf orbited the white dwarf. Due to this, the planet had a very long Orbital Period of 621 standard years. Three stars orbited the planet, all of which remain unnamed. The closest star resides inside the planets electromagnetic field, allowing it to have some amounts of surface water. The other moons have since been pulled into rings around the planet by it's gravitational force.
History
Discovery
Quoran Wenvaas, a Gray Jedi needed far outside of the explored galaxy to avoid being confronted by either the Jedi or possibly the Sith. To do this he went out into the unknown regions of space. He soon found an uninhabited system that he could temporarily stay on. He quickly discovered while Barrith could be inhabited, doing so would be a difficult task and so he headed to the moon of the planet which he found had a more stable nature.
Pre-Discovery
Though it was never confirmed, Quoran Wenvaas suspected that this planet had collided with another some time in the past. The stars suggested that the planets formed in the system would be much older, and the overly volcanic nature of the planet seemed odd to him. In the south pole of the planet, he discovered what he thought to be a fossil, of some ancient plant life. Though he did not have time to explore further as the base of the tunnel collapsed beneath his weight.
Post-Discovery
The planet was later made known to the galaxy and a few Sullustan settlements were made there. It was rumored that an Asogian fugitive may have also made his way inside. The settlements brought in their own cultures and no official government was established. Due to the early development of this planet, it was visited infrequently by outsiders and was commonly used in a Loop Smuggling Route.
