The Balmorran Republic, sometimes called the Republic of Balmorra, was a democratic union that governed the world Balmorra[1]. Under the leadership of the democratically elected Governor, the Balmorran Republic's main base of operations was in Bin Prime, at the base of the Balmorran Mountains[1].
In the years prior to the Clone Wars, the Balmorran Republic was divided between the Separatist Balmorrans and the Balmorran Defense Front[1]. This led to the Civil War of Balmorra, and eventually the Battle for Balmorra[2].
