Rise of the Empire era

Bairdon Jace was a male Human Padawan who lived during the waning years of the Galactic Republic.

Biography[]

Taken at a young age, Bairdon was instructed to learn the ways of the Force under the tutelage of Keelyvine Reus. Sometime in 28 BBY, Bairdon was trained under Jedi Knight Alysun Celz. Jace enjoyed his training with her and started to grow close with her. However, in 25 BBY, Bairdon was dismayed after his former master succumbed to the dark side of the Force and began to commit various crimes against the Jedi Order. After Celz was detained and brought back to the Jedi Council to stand trial, Bairdon was selected by Jedi Master Khaat Qiyn to serve as her new Padawan.

Clone Wars[]

Battle of Geonosis[]

In 22 BBY, Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi was captured by Count Dooku, a former Jedi and another of the Order's most renowned duelists, while on an investigative mission which led him to Geonosis. There he discovered that Dooku was building a confederation in preparation of attacking the Galactic Republic. Kenobi transmitted this information to the Jedi Council before being captured. After his capture, Jace and Master Qiyn were present in the Grand Convocation Chamber on the evening of the Galactic Senate's decision to create the Grand Army of the Republic.

Later, he and his master were tapped to serve in Windu's team of two-hundred Jedi dispatched to rescue Kenobi, along with Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padmé Amidala. Upon arriving to Geonosis, Jace and his master were among those who infiltrated the Petranaki arena. When Dooku deployed a battle droid ambush, Jace fought outside the area and survived, while his Master perished. After the battle of Geonosis, Jace disappeared when he was driven mad by grief for losing his second master.

Fall to the Dark side[]

A few weeks after the war, Jace encountered Count Dooku while he travelled to Serenno to avenge his master and assassinate the Separatist leader. Dooku bested him, but sensed great power in him and spared him. Having lost faith in the Republic and believed it was responsible for allowing both his masters to fall, he was persuaded by Dooku to join him by his side and become a loyal servant to the Sith. Agreeing to his proposal, Jace fell to the dark side and learned how to embrace his anger as a source of strength.

Mission to Coruscant[]

Your coming me Admiral Tarkin.

During the Clone Wars, the Jedi and the Republic successfully captured several Separatists, such as Poggle the Lesser, General Whorm Loathsom and Emir Wat Tambor. In 20 BBY, Bairdon was sent by his master to try and free the Separatist leaders that were confined in the Republic military base on Coruscant, the capital of the Galactic Republic. While he was there, he did not sense that his former master Alysun Celz was imprisoned there, along with Bariss Offee. He was able to sneak inside the base and killed several shock troopers, including Thongla Jur and Eekar Oki who were not fast enough to stop him.

Reaching the control room, Bairdon killed all the guards inside and was able to activate all the cells to open which allowed all the prisoners, including Tambor, Poggle, and Loath to escape. However, the three Separatist prisoners were eventually recaptured by Anakin Skywalker and the clones before they could escape. Jace witnessed their capture from atop the balcony and saw that this plan was a failure, but decided to form another plan to get them out. During the riots in the military base, Bairdon killed a four clones, including Commander Fox, and stunned Admiral Tarkin.
