This article is about the Avenger-class battlestation. You may be looking for its successor, the Avenger II.

The Avenger-class battlestations were the standard battlestations of the Sith Order of Decreto throughout the Legacy and Unity era's.

Comparable in size to the Ultima-class Super Star Destroyers, the Avenger-class Battlestations were one of the few class of vessels within StarFleet Command not to look as if it were a further advancement of old Imperial technology.

Capable of supporting a permanent population of one million and an emergency population of one and a half, the Avenger-classes were by far the largest "starships" ever created by the Sith Order of Decreto. Often receiving critical comments from those within, and without the Decreton Empire.

Heralded as the new Death Star, the Avenger-class was capable of interstellar travel, although for the most part they were stationed in orbit of planets permanently.

Several Avenger-class battlestations were placed in orbit of key worlds such as Korriban and Sith'ika.
