Tachibana Heavy Engineering's Automated Systems Security Drone Heavy[1] was an upgraded version of the original first generation Automated Systems Security Drone, difference being that this model was given gold plating than silver, which gave the drone better armour and resistance against lasers.[1] Unlike the first model, this one was used by both Tachibana Security and Eclipse Army, and Navy as security drones within vessels of the New Empire.[1]
It was armed with a JT-X heavy laser cannon for handling about any infantry threat, and, which was very unlikely, against rogue ASSDs.[1] The drones were tested and approved by the Department of Military Research for use by the Eclipse Army and Navy.[1] The Heavy also was equipped with a modified MX-7 shield generator, by the D.M.R. during construction stages and manufacturing of these drones.[1]
